Sunday 24th July Newlyn to Mousehole Swim
Route and Logistics: Newlyn Tolcarne Beach (Sandy Cove) to Mousehole Harbour. You'll be supported from the water by a team of kayakers who are experienced in swim support. The swim will leave from close to Newlyn harbour wall and follows the rocky shoreline to Mousehole, where we will finish on the sandy beach inside the harbour. If the visibility is good, the underwater scenery, rocks and seaweed are great. We'll pass the iconic Penlee lifeboat station, now a memorial to the crew of the lifeboat who were lost in the Union Star tragedy.

Wetsuits: Compulsory unless you are an experienced/regular skins swimmer comfortable with at least 1 hr. in the water at this time of year. Please discuss with Cathy first if you want to swim skins.
Caps: Please wear a brightly coloured swim cap.
