A small group of Carrick swimmers attended the Devon masters Championships on Sunday 10th September at Plymouth Life centre.
At the very start of our swim season it was good to see our more experienced competitors take on events they would not normally swim and have the courage to push themselves well out of their comfort zones. Not easy, and often these are the events from which an athlete will learn the most. Well Done!
All of the swimmers came away with medals and enjoyed the event

Cornish records
7 Cornish records were broken with Carrick masters Fran Baker (60-64) taking the Cornish record for 400m IM in a time of 07:14.66 .
