Carrick masters win 2023 CCASA Masters Championships

Carrick masters steamed to victory at the 2023 Masters County Championships with 576 points, a massive 344 points more than second place, Bude Sharks

Our team of 24 swimmers all clocked up points (& medals)

and included both experienced competitors and swimmers for whom this was their first masters competitive experience. A big shout out to Carrick swimmers : Talan Annear, Alison Attfield, Fran Baker, Malcolm Barton, Tania Biagini-Williams, Thomas Collier, Megan Cookson, Aiden Coxhead, Alan Dodd, Julie Drage, Cags Gilbert, Anna Harrold, Kitty Jacobs, Graeme Milne, Tom Parker, Mikey Pond, Sarah Quartermaine, Cathy Ralph, Alison Russell, Jenny Scott, David Stead, Peter Stephens, Maria Szuplewski, and Finn Wightman .

Other members of the Club & family came to support the team, with Val and Monique on the medal table, Monique hosting the raffle (we raised £44 for the club), Bernie as announcer with Judy assisting and several swimmers doubling up as officials between swims including Alan, Fran, Cags and Alison R.

Adrian and Alison D were also at the event and completed their training becoming J1 officials. Massive well done to them!
